Struck by the beauty of nature I started taking photographs in 2004, during a trip to Norway. Initially I was drawn towards colourful landcape photography, but gradually I discovered the fascinating world of black and white.
While studying and living in Ghent, I got to know every aspect of the city. Edifices for tourists, hidden streets and corners and the nearly unexplored suburbs: I’ve disclosed it all by means of images. I’m not interested in everyday tourist pictures, but aspire to capture impressions and representations of this lively city.
City photography and landscape photography, as well Belgian as foreign, remain my utmost favorite subjects.
